Old tattoo? Let's give it a second life.
Faded, blurry, unfinished, or just not you anymore. Cover-ups and reworks are one of Dani's specialties, including tattoos she didn't do in the first place.
- Cover it up. A brand-new design built to completely hide the old one, so all anyone sees is the new piece.
- Refresh faded work. New linework and color for pieces that have softened over the years.
- Fix and finish. Clean up blowouts and wobbly lines, or finally complete an abandoned piece.

Hi, I'm Dani.
I've been tattooing for more than ten years, long enough that my throwback posts start with "many moons ago." In 2024 I opened Mtn Mama Ink, the first tattoo shop in Minnetonka, so my clients could have a calm, welcoming place to get tattooed close to home.
I love a little bit of everything: fineline florals, swords and skulls, fairy doors, fiery hummingbirds, octopuses that wrap all the way around a leg, and plenty of freehand work drawn right on the skin. Some of my favorite days are first tattoos, tattoos for best friends and sisters, and cover-ups that give someone a tattoo they finally love.
When I'm not tattooing, I'm painting, from canvases to whole garage doors. That side of my art is loud, colorful and a little psychedelic, and you'll find it right here too.

Mtn Mama Ink teamed up with the Climate Justice Committee on a custom flash sheet, the first ever to come out of the shop. For six months, 20% of every flash tattoo went straight to the CJC.

Questions
Do you take walk-ins?
No. Mtn Mama Ink is appointment only. Send a request through the form above and Dani will reach out to schedule.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Dani charges $150 per hour with a $150 shop minimum. After you send your idea, she'll give you an estimate based on size, detail and placement.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A $100 deposit holds your appointment, and it goes toward the final price of your tattoo.
Can you cover up or fix a tattoo someone else did?
Yes. Cover-ups and reworks are one of Dani's specialties. Send a clear, well-lit photo of the tattoo with your request and tell her what you'd like. She'll let you know whether a full cover-up or a rework is the better fit.
Do you sell your paintings?
Dani sells prints of her work and takes commission requests. Use the form and choose "Art print" or "Art commission."

Mtn Mama Ink is a private studio in Minnetonka, Minnesota. You'll get the exact address when your appointment is confirmed.
